Roger Davies Art Workshops

I occasionally get invited into schools to conduct Art Workshops, which are always a pleasure to undertake.  The pupils really seem to enjoy it too.

Usually, I take part in a whole school assembly where I show the children a good selection of my paintings as a slideshow presentation on an interactive screen.  I explain how I make my work, the materials I use, and where I get my ideas for pictures from.  The children also like to ask me lots of questions about being an Artist.

I then work with specific classes or year groups, where each pupil gets to make a painting using the same materials and processes which I utilise.  We choose well-known local landmarks or some aspect of the school building as our subject.

The results are always fantastic, with excellent feedback from both pupils and teachers.

If you’d like to invite me to your school, please get in touch as I’m sure it could be arranged.

Thank you.
